• Meet with the client to determine the needs, issues and expectations
• Determine if we possess or have access to the right level of subject matter expertise for the engagement

As with any business initiative, partnership must be mutually beneficial - consultancy is no different. In the engagement process, if we determine we can not add value, we will be forthright and take a pass. Equally as important, if we determine there are organizational, cultural or focus barriers within the organization and conclude it may prohibit a successful partnership, then we may step away from the engagement.
